I'm not a true disciple in that I don't always play it, but when it wins pots, they can be big because the villain doesn't expect it.Memphis MOJOhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12653631347560307425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36880087.post-5645551127856975292011-08-29T23:48:52.831-04:002011-08-29T23:48:52.831-04:00I've been watching the win rate of my 2-4 hand...I've been watching the win rate of my 2-4 hands in my recent cash games -- whether I choose to play "The Grump" or not. I am surprised at how many times The Grump wins or would have won. Much more than I ever would have suspected -- at least in the short run.lightning36https://www.blogger.com/profile/05641629003610446976noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36880087.post-48690119001951301422011-08-29T21:14:57.947-04:002011-08-29T21:14:57.947-04:00I forgot to mention that when I showed the 4 he sh...I forgot to mention that when I showed the 4 he showed his hand - Q-10 as he announced he had a pair of tens.

FWIW I NEVER (normally) show just one card. Just not what I do - I think I was out of it, disappointed at the outcome and didn't think the other card was worth turning over, more like worth being sent to the trash heap - I just wasn't thinking.

I knew you'd have the answer btw! Thanks for taking the time to answer properly.

I've won with the 2-4 more times than I lose with it btw.Josiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00226640652091292377noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36880087.post-15521173345856328202011-08-29T20:46:46.915-04:002011-08-29T20:46:46.915-04:00The only thing I can say is if you bet and I call,...The only thing I can say is if you bet and I call, you aren't mucking your cards. Bluff or not, I'm seeing them. I paid for that right and I'm insisting on it. And if I'm in position and we both check the river, you are showing before I do. But if I flip it over first and show the winner and you muck it, that's on me.The Neophytehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11606959676407800658noreply@blogger.com
