Poker dealers in PA do not have a key to their tip box. At the end of their shift the casino counts their tips per PA law. No off the books income for dealers in PA.<br /><br />A dealer in LV would have a much easier time pulling this scam. This guy was grabbing $200/night, so a red chip from 40 pots. Forty chances to get caught stealing a night.<br /><br />Of course, the article speculates that the casino will start pooling dealer tips. I hope not.
