Immutable law of poker

The cocktail waitress will only come right when it's your turn to play.

I have no idea why this is, but it is an undeniable, universal truth.

And she will, inevitably, become miffed that she didn't get a tip because you were too intent on the game.

She will, of course, start to like you again when you get her on the next trip round, though :)
