Americans' priorities

What does it say about our country that more people visit the Las Vegas Strip than the National Mall and associated museums and memorials in Washington, D.C.?

I suppose I shouldn't complain--but it's hard to feel proud about it.

The traffic is bad enough as it is in D.C.

Feel free to make a patriotic visit here anytime.

It says the Bellagio flower garden changes more often than the statues.

I toured DC once. I communicate with my representation by email. I have visited Vegas more often than DC but have communicated with cheap ass politicians more often.

Maybe you should compare them with the ladies of Pahrumph. The difference is that the ladies post prices and details for their services and don't have delusions about the relationship. It is the old joke about having established the relationship and now we're just arguing price.

I'd go to the National Mall more often if it added a Gap and Starbucks.
