Ian Fleming (creator of James Bond), in the 1957 introduction to the British edition of Herbert Yardley's classic book, The Education of a Poker Player, as quoted in Graham Sharpe, Poker's Strangest Hands:

I am not a good poker player. Poker is a cold-hearted, deadly game that breaks and bankrupts men.

That Wingman hand calculator thing is mighty annoying, don't you think? Of course, it wouldn't be so bad if, at least, there were some AIR around it. You know -- white space? How's it work, anyway? Do they pay you a penny or two every time someone accidentally hits the Wingman box when they're trying to link to the Comments?
