Shouldn't have been a surprise. After all, don't most Mookies end just about like this?

Like Crash said, that's how YOUR Mookie ended. You're not Astin, so you probably didn't play that hand correctly. Being patient and waiting for better hands like 73 is a Mookie Must. The Mookie is a tricky tournament and it takes time to learn how to play tricky hands like AA.
