all u have to do is keep your expenses low. i make $2000+ a month on average. half the people in this country make less than that and get by ok.

I don't agree with TBC's numbers. The median household income in this country is ~$54,000. The median individual income was $26K a few years ago. Minimum wage is $15,000/year. Minimum wage is about to be $15/hr or $30,000/year in Seattle.

But sure, if you can find a way to live on 2K/month it's not that hard to play 200 hours a month and make $10/hr.

Not said in Negreanu's article: I believe most pros make their money on books and endorsement and actually lose money playing poker.
