The suckiest poker news of the year

That's what this is:

I'm just gonna pretend I didn't read that and substitute my own version of reality in which HSP ended well with season 5.

I'm sure the inventors of 3d television had poker in mind. When they fold those cards, it'll look likey they're coming right at ya!

Agreed. That blows. But I've missed most of this last season because, for some reason, my DVR groups all of HSP as the same slot and all are marked 'Repeat' so it doesn't record any of them. No idea why.

"The suckiest poker news of the year"?

... or so the Germans would have us believe!

Oh well. Gabe Kaplan came out of retirement for this to begin with. It wasn't going to last forever.

I don't know if MacDonald can pull off the "one court-jester in a booth" format from last season.

Norm MacDonald is very very funny. I don't get all the hate.

hmmmmm, GSN is bypassing the usual transition of FIRST broadcasting in Hi-def BEFORE going to 3D? It never was hi-def where I watch either on DirecTV or Cox...is it elsewhere than in LV?

I'd prefer Dennis Miller or Garry Shandling, but I'll still watch.

I am a big Norm MacDonald fan as well. But I think Gabe Kaplan did a great job, not sure if Norm can fill his shoes. My idea for a poker game show: http://www.PodPoker.tv

I think the bad news is no Ivey and no Dwan this season.

I echo Josie completely (stole my thunder). Also, I'd be very surprised if Norm can match Gabe's poker savy. I have to admit, Gabe was pretty good at commentary (not just jokes).
