Troubles

I have spent most of the last three days wrestling with a truly infernal computer problem, or set of problems. Found a bad RAM module, removal of which stopped most of the random crashes, but somehow in the process of testing and replacing the hardware, the system software got out of whack, and now won't let me do much of anything (like connect to the Internet). Today I finally threw in the towel and took it to a repair shop. I have pressed the old computer back into temporary service, but it's somehow gotten even crankier and quirkier than it was when I last used it in October. So I'm doing as little online as possible for the next day or two. This all happens to coincide with when my supply of pre-posted "Guess the Casino" posts ran out, so that, too, will be on temporary hiatus.
