It makes my brain feel adled

This ad is running in the current issue of Poker Player newspaper:

Can anybody tell me what a "mandatory stradle" is?

Maybe they mean 'streudel' and once every round you're required to have a piece of yummy apple pastry.

Whatever it is, I don't wanna do it. After reading that guy Tony's blog from a couple of weeks ago, I am unsurprised by any spelling errors. Even ads and items distributed to the public are poorly proofread today.

I'd have to say it's a third blind to the left of the big blind which is typically double the big blind. Hence, $1-2-4 blinds at a 1-2 table. Often the straddle (that third blind) is optional, but not in this case it seems.

If it is like the mandatory straddle game at the Seminole Hard Rock poker rooms then it is a 2-5-10 game with the UTG player posting 10.

seems like it reall is a $2/5/10 game...UTG posts $10 and gets last action on preflop

Dear, sweet, literal-minded readers:

I know what a straddle is. I know what a mandatory straddle is.

In fact, I even know what a "mandatory stradle" is--it's a misspelling of "mandatory straddle."

The question was rhetorical. It was a joke. I had hoped that the title of the post (adled instead of addled) would be a sufficient clue. Apparently not.

My bad. Humor fail.

It's Italian... a mandatory Stradale. Everyone who plays must own a Ferrari.
