I realize it's your blog and you can write whatever, but last 6 or 7 posts - not enough content IMO. I am more interested in stories about your sessions, interesting hands, strategy pointers etc. Guess the casino or pictures of some musicians isn't why I come to your blog.
I've been reading your blog for awhile now and it's without a doubt my favorite blog out there (poker or otherwise)!
I live on the east coast and mostly play in Atlantic City. One thing that bugs me when I visit LV is how many people straddle (it's banned in AC). Last time I was there I was sitting at a table at the MGM Grand and there were 4 people at the table that would straddle every time they were under the gun - it was really irritating!
I'd love to hear you're take on straddling. Something tells me that you have the same opinion of it that I do. Let's hear a rant!!
It's a little hard to say this, because I'm not used to it yet, but I suppose that I'm a professional poker player. I moved to Vegas intending to get a job as a poker dealer, but while waiting to get hired, I spent the days playing poker instead of dealing it, and soon found that I was able to keep the bills paid. So I've just kept on doing it. I play Hold'em exclusively, usually no-limit, and most commonly $1-2 or $1-3, with occasional forays into $2-5 territory. I play tournaments on-line once in a while, but for some reason that I haven't entirely figured out, I'm much more successful playing at casinos than on the Internet, and much better at cash games than tournaments.

I think this was too easy - the "F" on either side was a dead give away

the F's should mean the fitz, but the grump can be sneaky

Just click the tag/label "straddle" for old posts on the subject.
