It seems that this year the poker gods are trying to demonstrate to the world the power of the mighty Deuce-Four. See how reigning world champion Peter Eastgate wields it as a bluff to take down a pot, after wrongly losing faith in it mid-hand on a previous episode.

I played in a small buy-in tourney at a friends house last week and got deuce-four 3 times and played them all. First time flop came 442 and I took it down with no action. 2nd time flop was blank but I bluffed and took it. 3rd time there were two others in the pot, flop came A24 and I raised all in after a bet and call in front of me and both other players called. Forget the last two cards and when showdown came I said 2 pair and so did another guy. My first thought was my 2-pair couldn't beat any other 2-pair but my next thought was he reads the grump as well and I was not surprised when he tabled deuce-four as well and we chopped it up.
