Rakewell, guess it's time to come out of the closet and ask some stuff, if it's cool:

1. After almost 10 years of wishing, I'm finally planning to make my first trip (as an adult) to LV this August. Only downside: I'll probably have no more than three full days tops to spend.

So since I obviously won't have the time to check out every casino... which three to five would be at the top of your list for bloodsucking parasite tourists like me to visit (as well as the best to play poker and blackjack in, as they're my games)?

2. If you were taking my trip, where would you recommend as a good-to-great stay for under $120 a night? I'm leaning toward the Holiday Inn Express on Polaris, but I keep hearing about great strip deals from friends at work.

3. Hope you don't mind but I enjoy your blog enough that I put in under my blogroll on my blog, www.qualitydesktoppundit.blogspot.com... hope this is okay, although I've yet to post about my own poker playing as of yet. Was hoping maybe you could blogroll me as well, let me know your policy.

Apologies for such a long comment. If you prefer, feel free to respond via the comment section of my blog, rather than here at your blog. Thanks in advance for your advice, and wishing you continued prosperity at the tables.

Rakewell: here's a shoutout for you at my blog. Hope you like it.

(Although you may not like what I had to say about RB+P or BWoP.)

1. Impossible to say. Depends on where you're staying, what mobility you'll have, what times you'll be playing, what you like in poker rooms, etc. No clue about blackjack--never play. Whatever else casinos offer besides poker is basically unknown to me.

2. No idea, but there are plenty of web sites devoted to updated deals available.

3. Thanks. My list is the ones that I try to keep up on, rather than any sort of comprehensive catalog of what's out there.
