However.

1. There is no mechanism for sending me money. A long time ago I put up "tip jars" from PayPal and Amazon. They sat almost entirely unused, and I mostly forgot that they were even there. A few months ago I was fiddling around with the page elements because of some ad updating. I noticed the tip jars and thought to myself, "Well, that's kind of lame." So I deleted them.

2. Most readers understand that my frequency of posting swings wildly between frenzied output and droughts of writer's block. Most just quietly accept that fact as one of my quirks. Some are kind enough to leave a note of thanks once in a while. A few of the more socially handicapped see fit only to complain (almost always anonymously). I've gotten used to that, and their bits of nastiness don't bother me. But neither gripes about the dry spells nor monetary donations will change the content. I write what I feel like writing, when I feel like writing it. When the muse doesn't move me, I go quiet for a while, and nothing readers say or do can change that.; 4:26 PM
