[There is a] common, ancient rule, which states, "If you show someone your uncalled hand, then everyone is entitled to see it, but only after they do the show-one-show-all chant with disdain."

It's a good rule "give one person a line on your play give the table the same"...however when someone wishes to fold a hand at showdown its putting salt into a wound and bad form to ask.... that rule has to exist (collusion) but is abused to get a line on someone's play
