Guess the casino, #5

Hint: I had to digitally alter this photo because the sign had the name of the casino on it in big letters twice! I blacked it out. However, I left intact the casino's opening date, listed in the lower right-hand corner, which you can use as a good hint (i.e., it's probably not the Wynn!). I realize that you can read only a few of the headliners' names, but trust me, it's a VERY impressive list--basically anybody who has been anybody in live entertainment in the last, oh, 50 years or so.

Answer: The Riviera

Would you have any trouble if you took a digital camera (instead of your phone camera) and took a shot in one of the casinos? Would they ask you not to?

It's interesting if they do since they don't seem to mind your using a phone camera.

I've found if you ask, they say no, but if you just do it (quickly and without a big production), they don't seem to mind. (By they, I mean the Tunica casinos where I mostly play.)

I think you're about right--if you ask, they'll officially say no, but in practice they don't expend much effort to stop you. Inside of poker rooms, I've twice been asked to stop taking pictures. Outside of poker rooms, never. On the VegasRex blog, you can read all sorts of stories of how he has been dealt with when taking pics inside casinos, all the way from encouraged to manhandled.

The Riviera.
Walked by that sign
about 15 times on my way
out to the parking garage
on my last trip.
